I am so exhausted!!! We've had VBS each morning this week, from 9am to Noon. Tomorrow is the last day!!! It's been fun, but getting ready and getting the kids ready, five days in a row, is totally tiring!! I'm working in the crafts area, so it's been a pretty fun four days, so far. I am extra tired today though since I stayed up talking with Tim until 1:30am :o/ It was fun, but I really paid for it this morning. I think I might be PMSing too...I had a little run-in on the way to church. Some guy pulled out in front of ME and then flipped me off!! Ooooo...it really made me mad...I did well though...I didn't flip him off right back! lol I did pull up next to him though and roll my window down and tell him that it wasn't really necessary for him to flip me off...especially when I have three kids in the car with me. He just did some smartie-pants face at me and was just plain rude and immature. Grrrrrrr...it upset me so much that I was crying on the way to church and for the first 15 minutes of being there this morning, it was hard to hold the tears in. I think the reason why it upset me THAT much is because it is VERY RARE that someone is actually rude to me. I believe that treating people the way you want to be treated works. I try to smile and be nice to people, and that is what I usually get in return. I've just gotten used to that, and it's been a long time since someone was unkind to me. It just wasn't a good day for it.... :(

So anyway...Josh was having a bad day too. VBS is boring to him. Monday he didn't enjoy it...Tuesday and Wednesday he did...and then today he didn't again. I feel bad for him, but I really feel like he just has a bad attitude about VBS. He just needs to enjoy being around the other kids and not let things upset him so easily!! He survived today and both he and Abby are over at Brianna's house right now :) I think I might take advantage of this and actually take a nap! The only time I will take a nap is if I am sick, but the way today has gone, I think I need one :o/ Oh, and my Buttercup STILL isn't back yet :(

One more thing...I posted a new linkware set yesterday: Bloom where you are planted...

I think my brain is either fried and I totally missed you adding my bug skin to the skinning list, or you must have just done it recently!!! Either way, THANK YOU!!!!!

I forgot to mention that I redesigned my site's splash page, this week! I also posted a new linkware set: Set 237 Both designs use the same brushes...I love these :)

My sweet stray cat, Buttercup, is missing :( She hasn't been around the house since Saturday night. She had kittens the weekend before last, and had them somewhere away from our house. She had been coming three times a day to eat, but hasn't been here at all this week. She is such a sweet and affectionate cat, and is the only one of all the strays that will let us pet them. She even let me put a flea collar on her and didn't scratch at it or anything!! I sure do miss her :(

Yep, the title is true...I have the Monday blahs. I don't feel like doing any house cleaning, and today is the day we start back with the home schooling and I'm not feeling much into it. I'm hoping that coffee will wake me up a bit and help me to get moving. We did do some math this morning, and a little reading, and it went well :) It's just a mental state I've gotten myself into, I guess. :o/

We had a GREAT time this weekend!!! Friday night, we went down town to the river and watched the fireworks!! It was my first time to see that many fireworks and that big of a fireworks show! My chest was literally vibrating from all of the explosions...we were super close :)

On Saturday, we went to a late lunch at Mazatlan's Mexican Restaurant, and then headed over to the half price book store that is across the parking lot from the restaurant. We had so much fun in there! I think we shopped around for about an hour to an hour and a half! For me, that is a LONG time to be in a book store...I don't enjoy reading!! We then headed over to Barnes and Nobles and got frappuchinos at the cafe there, and I bought a cool Dover clipart Art Nouveau book!! I'm still trying to figure out how to use the scanned in pictures.

So today isn't as good as the other days, but that's okay :) Tim will be home from work soon, and I think we will be watching a movie tonight. I have to prepare for VBS, this week. I need to buy all of the craft supplies and get them to the appropriate people so that they can do their cutting and preparing. VBS starts on the 14th and goes through the 18th.

I'm heading over to my friend Diane's house tomorrow!! We are going to eat lunch together, and I'm going to try out her new exercise bike :) I really want to get one of my own...I hate the Cardio Rider...errgggg :P I'm going to scoot now and get some caffeine and get myself cheered up!! Toodle-loo!

I've posted a new set, finally!! It's nothing big, but I do like it :)

The Oklahoma trip went well! The driving was exhausting, but the visit itself was wonderful :) I'll try to get a pic up soon. The kids had a great time with their cousins! This was their first time to meet them, and they all played so well together. Several of them are around the same age ;)

I haven't felt like posting here much lately...just feeling kind of blah right now. Hrm...I hope everyone has a great 4th of July!! :)
