I hope everyone is having a great weekend!! Yesterday was beautiful here, and I was feeling the best I had, all week :) One of Tim's friends from college, a fella named Brian, came to visit us, last night!! He brought his girlfriend Phoebe with him...she's a sweetie! They arrived a little before 8pm. Both Brian and Tim are out getting breakfast ingredients for all of us :) I better scoot and finish getting all of the plates ready! Just wanted to give an update that we are getting better here :) OH!! And TODAY...a friend from church will be coming over to start tearing down the termite wall for us!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!! I'm praying it will go smoothly, and quickly, and not too expensively :p

Good morning :) I'm feeling a little better today...now it's more of a runny/stuff nose and oogly head feeling :p I've got a lot of work to get done today and tomorrow....ugh. I had a guy come out to do a free estimate for us last night, for replacing the wall where the termites are. I don't think he's worked much with termites in the past, because he was surprised by the damage that has been done so far, and how the termites can eat out such perfect little holes...lol He was really nice though. I think he may have been a little pricey, but he was the first estimate we have gotten. He will charge us $750 for replacing 4 feet of the wall...that includes removing the damaged wood, and finishing the wall and repainting it so it's all normal again. After seeing the quote, Tim wants to try to do the wall himself instead....maybe hire some of his friends to help. So, that's where my work comes in. I have to clear out the dining room today, since that's where most of the damage is. I also have to clear out all of the cabinets and the counter top of the kitchen side of the damaged wall...it's not going to be easy...it can be done though. I just need to come up with a good plan and figure out where to put the extra stuff ;)

The kids are doing just fine now :) Abigail has a little cough, but I tinnk it's just leftover from this weekend. She doesn't seem sick at all. Tim's cold is getting better too. He seems to do just fine when he takes DayQuil. I've been taking DayQuil too, but it doesn't do much for me. Anyhoo...I better get to work!

I finally found time to do another set today!! This one is heavy on the PSP brushes ;)

Tim and the kiddos are upstairs playing a computer game together :) The weather is so incredibly nice today!! I've got windows open to air out our sickly house :p The kids are feeling better too!!!! They still have very small fevers, but they aren't crashed on the couches anymore...so that's a good thing!

The kids still had fevers this morning, and were feeling pretty lousy... Abigail is missing the party, but Nikki said she would save her a piece of cake and would have some party favors for her still :) So, they are both camped out on the couches again today. I've been working on cleaning up upstairs...I'm trying to go through a lot of things and get stuff together to give to Good Will. Less clutter will make life a lot nicer...lol Better scoot and make lunch now. Just wanted to give an update for the grandparents! ;)

Edited to say that I made a new front page for my site! I love these old paintings... :) It's nothing spectacular, but it'll do...I was tired of the cherries!

The kiddos are sick today :( Abigail started out with her head hurting this morning, and then around 10:30am we realized that she had a fever too. I gave her Tylenol, and she has been laying on the couch all day long. Around noon Joshua started complaining about his head hurting so I felt the back of his neck and he was really hot. Ends up that he has the same thing she does...achey head, sore throat and a fever :( AND, tomorrow is Abigail's friend Casey's princess birthday party!!!! She was crying earlier because she might not be well enough to go. It starts at 1pm, so I'm hoping that this will just be a 24 hour bug, and that they will be fine tomorrow. I just laid them down, and they were both pretty miserable...*sigh* My head was hurting today too, but I took some Advil and it went away. So far, Tim isn't sick, and I sure do hope it stays that way!!! That's the LAST thing he needs!! I don't think this is going to be a very fun weekend... :(

Lookie what Becky did for me!!! She figured out how to get MT on my server, so now I don't have to bug Brandi for things ;) lol Thank you so much Becky :) And Brandi, thank you so much for your willingness to help me out with my journal, and for getting me started with MT!!!! You gals rock :D

You'll notice that I'm sportin' a new look now too! This design was made by Becky for me, for the Design Trade! It's so nice and tranquil...I love it :)

Tim will be home soon, so I better scoot off and finish making dinner. I'm so excited that I have MT on my own site now!!!!! It feels so empowering...LOL ;)

I'm an in awe of Brandi's awesome new layout!!!!!! The colors are just blowing me away...it's still the simplicity that Brandi is known for, but the colors really give it that extra kick!! Great job, Brandi ;)

I'm working on printing out school papers for the kids to take to Bible study today. They normally do home schooling there, while I'm in the study...it's great :) They even have a real teacher working with them! I think today will be a great day... I'm going to McDonald's with Nikki and her kiddos, and then it's Walmart shopping time. I better scoot and finish getting ready ;)

The weather here was GORGEOUS today!! We went to the park for a picnic lunch, and then played with the kids for a while. It was super breezy, the sun was shining, and I believe it was about 70 degrees...perfect :) We had a wonderful time! We got back from our home fellowship group for church, about 40 minutes ago. Not everyone was there tonight, but we still had fun. We'll be hosting it at our house on the 22nd!!! We've only hosted it one other time, and it was so much fun having everyone over :) Well, I'm going to scoot...just wanted to share that we had a great day!!

It's been a few days since I've really written anything in here, so I figured it was time to get caught up so that the grandparents will have something to read when they visit here! lol Let's see... Oh, Sunday morning was kind of a sad one. I had a bad nightmare about Joshua, and when I told everyone about it at the breakfast table, Josh and Abby BOTH started crying!!! And then a little later that morning, I found out about Mr. Rogers dying and Tim said that he thought it would be okay to tell the kids about it. Well between the two of them, Joshua was the one that ended up being the most upset about it! I thought for sure it would be Abigail. He was crying and saying that he didn't get to give Mr.Rogers a letter and tell him that he loves him, and that he didn't get to say good bye to him. Needless to say, all of this made ME start crying too. It really was a sad morning :( I finally found something that somewhat consoled him though. I told him that Mr.Rogers was a Christian, and that we will see him in Heaven some day...this really helped him :) After that, we all just had a relaxful day. Tim had helped Sara move that Saturday, so he was pretty sore...lol The birthday party that the kids and I went to was fun for them...it was pretty long for me :p We ended up doing a little Sunday School with the kids! Tim found this cool site online that has stories and activities that go together :)

Right now, Abigail is playing Disney's My Disney Kitchen, and Joshua is watching her :) I found our Space Jam movie today, so Josh is pretty excited about that, and is looking forward to watching it later today.

The sun finally came out yesterday!! It's gone today though...BUT, the weather is really nice. It's a cool and cloudy day...my favorite :) I think it's about 63 outside. I'm suddenly not feeling to well. I exercised today, for the first time in a looong time. I kind of feel nausiated now...ick. Tim got the cardio glider out of the garage for me last night, so I plan on doing that every day now. I was only able to do it for about 15 minutes, with a 30 second break here and there...pretty pathetic...but it's a start. I would really like to get a stationary bike!! This cardio glider is good for me though. It works both your arms and legs.

Alrightey, I think I've bored everyone enough for now! lol Time to do some ironing...
